When dancers are behind each and every one of their moves, operators are behind their cameras and have a verb for what they’re filming, then we’re in business. Even the most chaotic reality location can work out. That’s why I expect a crew to be sober on set for at least a couple of hours but its not a requirement. Experiencing altitude can be a good thing, too if you can use it… just, make sure I don’t catch you!
Split screen sequences in this case help to remove unnecessary elements from the decor and amplify emotion. Another elegant solution to chaos!
